My Birthday 2010

I did not celebrate my birthday this year and the year before and the year before and the... I have never celebrated my birthday in a special way.

My mum use to boiled 2 red eggs with a fried chicken wing or drum for me every year when I was small. As I grew up, I guess I work too hard and travel too hard that the yearly ritual with red eggs stop for 13 years! I requested my mom to do it for me this year and I am grateful my mom still able to do that for me.

I like to thank all my friends and family who wishes me on my birthday. Only one word to describe you guys, AWESOME!

Love

Some people throw big parties and phoney people attend, who’re just there for the party. I think your case would suit me better, because the thoughts and warm wishes count the most. Bro, so many people love you, that’s important. :)

Hey Bro! I love Slovenian like your goodself! Hahahahaha

Thank you for your thought and wishes too :) you’re very generous.

It’s true that a big party with no one loves you won’t mean a thing to have a big party.

I am so happy with all the wishes and I become so energetic with everything I do. Like you said, “many people love you!” I’m feeling blessed.

Thank you so much to you and every one that makes it happen :)

      Dear Daisy,

You know I forgot to take the photo of the Red Eggs. Its a Chinese tradition way in celebrating a birthday, in a very small way.

I think I need to add a bit more story :)

As far as I know, we will eat the eggs as soon as we wake up in the morning on our birthday. That’s how we do it generation over generation. I break the rules the other day by having it at around 10pm.

Also the red means properity and good luck! So that’s the reason we must eat it in the morning so the birthday boy or girl would have the best of luck soon he/she start the day :)

Thank you for your wishes Daisy! Muck muck muck!

Aiyoyo, why didn’t you celebrate your birthday?

Red eggs and fried chicken are the most traditional way of celebrating birthdays last time… ^^

Manju wow! People breaking eggs on birthday boy and girl???? What a ritual! Interesting too!

I can not imaging the cleaning up part heheheh

You actually remind me of our crazy ritual when I worked in McD some 17 years ago… Everytime some one resign we will throw eggs or dirty water on a resignees to mark their departure! Hahahhahaha trust me, whoever bringing up th word “resign” is gonna get it! So no one dares to resign hahahhaha

The good thing about it is that, the memories stay with us for life! We have have fun :)

Thanks for sharing Manju :) mucks!
